Well we have finally arrived in Glasgow all in one piece after a terrible 29 hr flight. We have all vowed never to do it that way again and next time either travel 1st or business class (yeah right!) or have a stop over somewhere tropical! I got a horrible tummy bug before we even left Invers and the boys found it quite difficult to sleep in those tiny seats however we are all now settling in and enjoying our new surroundings. Our cottage is adorable, a bit on the old side however full of character (it reminds us so much of Thames St!). We have a full view of the rugby field from our bedroom window and lounge room which means I won't ever have to leave the house to watch a home game (a dream result for me!!!). We haven't had much of a chance to explore yet, with the boys getting straight into the rugby and and me still feeling very ill, so haven't got any pics to post as yet. Will hopefully get around to doing it early next week. Hope all is well back home. Will update you all soon.

Helicopter Ride!

As a going away gift I was lucky enough to get a helicopter ride! But this was no ordinary helicopter ride, this helicopter was to land on two ships that were anchored out at sea so they could get a quarantine check (and I got to go along for the ride!). I couldn't have asked to a better day to fly, it was perfect! Here are some pics!

I can't believe my trip home has been and gone. I would have loved more time but I guess that's just the way the cookie crumbles! Thanks to everyone who made an effort to catch up - I know it can be hard these days with everyone so busy (aren't we all growing up, he, he!!). Here are a few pics taken throughout my holiday. Sorry I don't have many as most of them were taken on Jackson's camera (and I forgot to get a copy!). Anyway this will be the start of my new Travel Blog. Hopefully we will get chances along the way to update you with a few photos and stories (don't worry they will be short!). Take care all of you XXXX
